Hey there! This is the Noordstar D&D Town Generator, an unofficial program that generates random towns for the fifth edition of Dungeons and Dragons.

* Don't worry, I'm not going to ask for money. To prevent my server from being constantly busy for one user only, you can only use these city sizes by taking one of the following steps:

1. Run this server yourself. The source code is open source, which means you can edit the code, and have fun with it yourself! You can find the source code here.
2. Contact the server owner. I might add a feature where people can log in on their account and have special access to the server, with extra features and bigger town sizes. I'd selectively add people, so make sure to contact me via e-mail, Reddit or YouTube.

How does it work?

I built this project mostly during the first three months of 2020, as part of a personal project. The town generator combines the town's name and the size into a "seed" to randomly generate all the information in the town. There's some more information theoretical optimalizations involved to speed up the process, but that's all.
